The  Union Pacific Railroad Depot was built in 1907 and was used to transport fruit, produce and even trout from the Mantua fish hatchery. Servicemen during WW2 passed through the depot during their duties and the wounded passed through by way of a spur track  to the Bushnell Military Hospital located on the other side of town.

The property was deeded over to Box Elder County by the Union Pacific Railroad in 1944 and was then turned over to the Golden Spike Association.  The beautiful  architecture is the same as it was over a hundred years ago and now it is cared for by dedicated volunteers that keep this historical place alive.
On October 18th, UROPA had an opportunity to conduct an investigation at the historic train depot in Brigham City, Ut.  Talking with staff we had learned of some interesting occurrences that took place here that had no rational explanation. Such as the evening that a volunteer and her husband were alone at the depot, straightening up at the end of a day when she heard the footsteps of whom she thought to be her husband walk into the room. Without looking she asked her husband to help her with something...no response. She asked again knowing that he was standing there very close, and again no response. Finally she turned around to see why he would not answer only to see that she was alone.

On another occasion, staff witnessed the sound of the men's toilet flush again and again,  with nobody in the restroom upon investigating. Manequinns used for holidays such as halloween, (spook alley) would be found lying on the floor and were picked up and placed back where they were originally only to be found the next day on the floor again. This happened several days in a row even after support was added to keep them from "tipping" over.

It was only until one of the volunteers had enough and pointing her finger sternly told the unnocupied room to "stop it!" It never happened again...

On our investigation, we found it very quiet that night and did not capture anything paranormal on film or video. We did manage to collect two class b EVP's. One of which says "hi" and the other seems to say "so watch where you're stepping". We cannot say if the train depot is haunted or not at this point but the volunteers stand by there personal experiences. We may do another future investigation.
