WASATCH COUNTY, PRIVATE RESIDENCE
UROPA received an e-mail from a concerned family in Wasatch County in regards to very strange activity in their home and on their property. The events that have taken place on and near their property seemed to be a catalyst for a haunting. Conversations took place over the phone before we were invited out.
In the area, there have been reports of horse mutilations that could be the result of cult activity which came to light soon after the family moved into the home.
Horses in a nearby barn acted unusually fearful of something only they could sense as one actually tried to escape its stall in "terror". This was something very uncharacteristic of this particular horse.
Soon, strange noises were heard on a few evenings just outside of the home on the property.
Lights within the home began blinking, and the children were very uncomfortable going into the basement playroom. Dark visions and dreams began for the woman of the house that I will not go into detail here, but seemed to coincide with events that had taken place in the area.
On one particular night the woman of the house woke up in the middle of the night with the absolute feeling of something sitting on her chest while she was being choked.
Prayers and saging were conducted on a few occasions after these incidents began with temporary effects.
Mysterious noises began inside the home, along with sewage type smells. It was soon after this incident that the woman of the house was lying in bed when the door slowly opened and a white female form entered the room, advanced toward the bed and began to "suffocate" the woman.
More cleansings ensued as the family felt under attack...and the "negative" energy seemed to be gone.
The client then told us of dreams or visions of children that seemed to be trying to contact her for help as they were "trapped". She soon learns of some children that died in the area in 1918 supposedly from influenza. The children may have been buried near the property fence line with no markers to represent them. There is a marker however that was shown to us that was located about a quarter of a mile away that said the family name and was dedicated to the children that were buried a good distance west of this marker.
The boyfriend was very skeptical in the beginning until he began to feel the energy that seemed to encompass the property. Walking out of his bedroom one evening, he sees the face of a person lying on the couch which he quickly believes to be his girlfriend. As he nears the couch, the "apparition" vanishes and he realizes no-one is there.
There are many facets to this particular case and with the one night that we could use to investigate before the family moved, we were unable to really get into the history of the location.
It was a long night and we could not produce any video (there were some orb footage but we cannot use this as evidence to paranormal phenomenon because of the many things that can produce orbs on film) or any substantial photos.The family did send a photo during the initial talks which shows an unknown "mist ". We did manage to collect well over 125 evp. They seemed to be everywhere all around us. Some seemed to be residual while some were intelligent.
With all of the events that seemed to play a factor on this case, one could easily say it was a definite recipe for a haunting. We believe with the enormous amount of disembodied voices we collected, and the honesty and integrity of the family, that the area is a hotspot of paranormal activity.
The family has since moved from the location because of the unexplained phenomena...
