SHERWOOD HILLS RESORT  (Preliminary)

UROPA was invited to the Sherwood Hills Resort to meet with and hear claims of a possible haunting from the staff of this beautiful resort. The resort was built in the 70's and seems to have a history of phenomena from claims made by those who have worked there. I remember hearing stories 20 years ago of staff acknowleging odd occurences such as lights in particular rooms coming on after room was cleaned, locked up and of course, lights turned off...

There are current claims of activity from staff. Footsteps have been heard late at night in areas where there are no guests, swinging doors have been witnessed to open and close without physical contact and apparitions have been seen on occasion. One in particular is that of an older woman that they refer to as the "Woman in white", which has been seen by different staff members.

On this night after talking with some of the staff, we were allowed to do an initial investigation. Staff was allowed to accompany as we conducted our "vigil".

We divided the staff  and broke up into two small groups as there were 2 other "ghosthunters" that were also there that night. There were many claims made by that group such as seeing shadows, hearing footsteps, feelings like they were being followed and even physical contact. One of the ghosthunters felt as though he could feel negative energy and it was overpowering him to the point he wanted to strike his fellow ghosthunter.

Unfortunately for UROPA or the staff that was with us, we did not experience anything unusual this night.

We do plan on a follow up and a full investigation without outside influences as staff claims seem to be of a genuine concern...
