SHERWOOD HILLS 2
UROPA returned to Sherwood Hills Resort to do an exclusive investigation of the alleged haunted location. At this point, we have only eyewitness testimony of the strange occurrences that take place at this particular resort.
After setting up DVR system and audio throughout we began our "vigil". It turned out to be an active night...
One of the first occupancies was witnessed by Kelly in the basement. As she was walking by the women's restroom area, a shadow was seen from underneath the door being cast by the light within. There was no known source for the unexplained shadow and upon recreating the movement of the shadow, someone would have had to be inside the restroom, about 3' away from the door walking across the room.
This is the same area a resort staff member was cleaning up when she saw a man walk past her and into the hallway leading to the restroom. She stated that she said "Hello" to the person but there was no response. She then heard the bathroom door open (as it is an obvious sound) and thought it was somewhat odd for someone to come to the basement area to use restroom. After some time passed, she became concerned that maybe something happened and perhaps that he had a heart attack. She knocks on the door and when there was no response, she then entered the room only to find it empty...
There are many windows in the basement of this resort and could be the cause of light reflections playing tricks on the eyes. Shadows are often seen out of the corner of the eye (although I believe most of this to be of natural visual stimuli) and seeing them is no exception to this room. We did capture on video, a small solid pinpoint of light that slowly moves around Kelly as she was sitting in a chair. The source for this anomaly is still unknown.
After some time in the basement, we headed to the kitchen. This location is well known to some of those that work there to be very "active". Objects have been reported to be thrown across the room and the "Woman in white" has also been known to frequent the kitchen area.
Soon after turning on audio recorders and beginning an EVP session, a stack of dishes on a shelf began to rattle. There were several stacks of dishes and for whatever reason, this one stack quickly caught our attention. We tried many times to try and get it to do the same thing by physically pushing and pulling on the rack but could not get them to rattle without substantial force. This recording of the sound it made cannot in no way be used as "evidence" to anyone that was not there, but is presented as a documented experience we had. This happens at about 3 sec into clip.
After spending some time discussing what had just taken place, voices were heard. It was difficult to make out other than it was a male voice that seemed to be in conversation with someone. The voice is faint but can be heard throughout the first 7 seconds of this clip.
In another area of the resort, Kelly felt as if something was brushing up around her legs. Dylan snapped this photo, and although we do not take orb photos too seriously, found this one to be of interest. It seems to cast light on Kelly's hand...
At the end of the night, in the main dining room area, we began packing up our things. Audio recorders were still going and we captured these two EVP. In the first clip, I asked about how many people were staying at the resort that night. You will hear "the person in charge" say she would have to "find out". Listen as you will hear the comment repeated.
Another EVP recorded was a random remark. This area of the resort was closed off to the few guests and the location is of some distance away from rooms in which they stay. Is there a spirit named "Jessica" calling out to us..?
